Balloon DaysSome said I was obsessed, or even that I was crazy.

But I like to say I was compassionate.

I first met this unique creature braiding leaves in her hair, quite unsanitary to me but perfectly natural to her. I wondered why such a lovely girl sat in such a dirty lake but I didn't want to scare her off. Instead I watched her, quietly admiring her small figure (and praying she was of age!) I said nothing to catch her attention, and she didn't seem to notice me. Not that I was upset over that!

I watched her for days, frequently returning to the lake to see her--and like always she was there.
